Samar Singh Chakma of Dinmohan Para of Lalchara under Longtrarai vally police station tried to kill three people including his wife by hacking him to death on Thursday around 7 pm. Father-in-law and mother-in-law came forward when Samar Singh Chakma put the cup in his wife’s hand. When they tried to save the girl, they were also attacked by Samar Singh Chakma. Cut off the hands of three of them with a knife. Later, local people rescued them from the spot and brought them to Langtarai vally sub-district hospital. From there, the doctor on duty transferred them to Dhalai District Hospital after seeing their physical condition deteriorating.
