On Thursday morning, Minister Sushant Chowdhury flag off a colorful Prabhat Ferry as part of the 55th Engineers Day celebration in the joint initiative of “The Institute of Engineers (India) (Tripura State Centre) and the Works Department of Tripura Government in front of the Rabindra Centenary Building in the capital AgartalaToday is being celebrated as Engineers Day across the country. India’s greatest engineer Bharat Ratna Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraiah’ Raji as a tribute to him on his 162nd birth anniversary. Engineers of the state are taking the state forward through technology and engineering development. Government is always on the side of engineers. It is our hope that engineers of the state will play a key role in building the developed and prosperous Tripura of dreams. He wished all the programs undertaken on the occasion of 55th Engineers Day all success. It may be mentioned that the state government declared Engineers Day as a state event like Teachers Day
