A fire broke out in the state’s main referral hospital GB Dialysis Department on Saturday afternoon. Sensation spread among the patients and relatives present around the incident. On being informed, two fire engines from Shyamli Bazar rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control before it spread rapidly. As a result, GB Hospital was saved from major accidents. Officials of the fire department believe that the cause of the fire is short circuit. The police have started investigating the incident. However, the firemen could not douse the fire as they rushed quickly.
