The CPIM laid siege to the Khowai police station on Sunday demanding the arrest of the accused involved in the attack on a CPM-supported family in Khoai Barbil Rishi Para village. On the night of September 14, 6 families supported by the CPM party were attacked by miscreants in Rizi Para of Barbil village. The arrow of complaint is against the ruling party. Later, a case was filed with the police with the names of the miscreants, but no arrests have been made so far. In protest, CPIM surrounded the police station on Sunday.
