‘Record Retention and Disposal Policy’ is going to be launched soon in the state to maintain and dispose of unusable assets in various departments of the state government. A high-level meeting was held on 7th October, 2023 at the Secretariat under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha regarding this policy. Chief Secretary J.K. Sinha elaborated the contents of this policy in the meeting. The Principal Secretaries and Secretaries of various departments present in the meeting expressed their opinion on the contents regarding this policy. Based on their views and suggestions, the content of the policy will be amended and supplemented and sent to the Cabinet for approval.
