Agartala, Wednesday: Applications for the Special Executive posts in the Tripura Police will close on Wednesday. On the final day, a large number of unemployed youths were seen gathering at different police stations across the state to submit their application forms.
According to sources, a total of 6,367 vacant posts will be filled. The application forms are being collected and submitted offline at the respective police stations.
Candidates who have passed Madhyamik (secondary examination) are eligible to apply. The age limit for general category candidates is 21 to 50 years, while for SC/ST candidates it has been extended up to 55 years.
Selected candidates will receive an honorarium of around ₹13,000 per month. Initially, the recruitment will be made on a three-year contractual basis.
