President second day of state visit inaugurates two passenger trains

Two passenger trains were launched by President Draupadi Murmar on the second day of her visit to the state this morning from Agartala railway station 12097/12098 Agartala-Jiribam – Agartala Janshatabdi Express train extended to Khongsang, Manipur and 025 18/02517 Guwahati – Kolkata -Guwahati Express extended to Agartala. Two passenger trains were officially launched. Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha, Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Debbarma, Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Pratima Bhowmik, Transport Minister Pranajit Sinha Roy, General Manager of North-East Frontier Railway Ansul Gupta were present in this event organized at Agartala Railway Station. MP Revathi Tripura, MLA Mimi Mazumder, State Chief Secretary JK Sinha, State Director General of Police Amitabh Ranjan and others were also present on the occasion. On the occasion, North-East Frontier Railway General Manager Ansul Gupta dressed the President in the traditional Risa of the state and presented him with a memento. At the beginning of the program, President Draupadi visited the Vistadome coach of the Murm Janshatabdi Express train. A documentary film was also screened on the occasion.
