Town Halls are also being constructed in sub-divisional towns of the state: Chief Minister

Today, the rural people can also enjoy the various facilities of the city because of the welfare-oriented mindset of the state government. Town halls with advanced facilities are now being constructed not only in Agartala but also in other sub-divisional towns of the state. Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha said this while inaugurating the newly constructed Bishalgarh Town Hall today. He also laid the foundation stone of Bishalgarh Municipal Corporation’s new office building today virtually. 29 crore 9 lakh 32 thousand rupees has been spent on the construction of Bishalgarh town hall.
Inaugurating the newly constructed town hall, Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha expressed the hope that this town hall will become one of the fields of arts and culture in the future. He said that this town hall will also play an important role in developing the traditional mixed culture of the state. As a result, a healthy, beautiful cultural environment will develop in the subdivision. The current government is working to provide daily facilities to the marginalized people of the state. This government is implementing various development plans in the direction of reducing the dependence on the city so that people can take advantage of various opportunities locally.
In the opening ceremony, Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Debbarma said that this government is working for the overall development of the people by the side of the people. The state government is implementing various developmental plans for the socio-economic, cultural and mental development of the people of the state. Bishalgarh Municipal Council Chairperson Anjan Purkayastha presided over the event. Among others present were Urban Development Corporation Limited Managing Director Shailesh Yadav, NBCC Chief General Manager Kedarnath Sarkar, Sipahijala District Superintendent of Police Jagdeeswar Reddy, Additional District Magistrate Subhashis Bandyopadhyay and others.
