The people of Phultali area under Amtali Police Station were suspicious of Shah Alam Mia’s movement for a few days. On Wednesday, locals found a car hidden in his house and the number plate had been removed. The villagers raided the house and recovered about 100 kg of rubber sheets. Local people caught Shah Alam Mia and brought him to the market. He claimed to have bought the car from Assam for Rs 4 lakh. Rubber sheet brought for sale. But the locals are unwilling to listen to him. So he was handed over to the police of Amtali police station.
