Govt responsible for making One Tripura a better Tripura: Chief Minister

The main focus of the state government is to make the health services of the state accessible to all the people. For this, health and wellness centers are being established at various places. This was said by the Minister of State Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha while inaugurating the 16th Annual Conference of Association of Surgeons of India, Tripura State Chapter at KLS Auditorium of AGMC today. He said, be it health, agriculture or tourism, the government is responsible for making One Tripura a better Tripura. The chief minister said that dental colleges will be opened in the state. The place has been identified for now. In this regard, regular communication is being maintained with the concerned parties. He said, there are 2 medical colleges in the state. Every faculty has substantial contribution in colleges. The Chief Minister said that doctors were attacked, harassed and targeted at various times. But that’s not right. Public awareness is needed for these closures. Because birth and death certificates are issued by doctors. He called upon the junior doctors and said that they have the opportunity to learn various subjects through this conference. He expects everyone’s cooperation in improving health services.
Dr. Health Secretary spoke among others. Dr. Debashis Basu, a prominent surgeon from Gujarat. Rajesh Shah, Principal of AGMC Dr. Manjushree Roy. Distinguished surgeon Dr. gave a welcome speech. Kishloy Chowdhury. In the opening ceremony, three prominent senior surgeon Dr. Shankar Chatterjee, Dr. Gundhiram Sharma and Dr. Shibendu Mohan Das was felicitated. On this occasion, Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha also released a memorial. The event was presided over by the president of the association. Sunil Kumar Ghosh.
