Production of pure drinking water by absorbing water vapor from the atmosphere. Although the matter seems a little different, this has been implemented in the capital’s GB Hospital. Two such state-of-the-art water treatment plants have been installed by OTPC. One of these has been installed in Kakravan Hospital. Union State Minister Pratima Bhowmik inaugurated the GB Hospital plant in the New Year 2023 on Sunday. Kakraban hospital plant will be inaugurated tomorrow. Eight lakh rupees have been spent to set up each plant. Union Minister of State Pratima Bhowmik said that these have been installed on an experimental basis. If it works well, these bullets will be installed in different areas of the state. These plants are very modern. These plants can produce 500 liters of pure drinking water in 24 hours by collecting water vapor from the atmosphere. Officials of OTPC were also present on the occasion.
