The teachers and non-teaching staff came to the education department today to know why they are being deprived so much. They claimed that the previous government had cleared all their DA and HRB dues. But they did not get the 20 percent DA which has been given to government employees till now after the coming of the present government. But in 2017, when they were protesting against the government of that time, the BJP leaders met with them And promised them regularization. In addition to their huge documentation, there was also the issue of their regularization. Tripura Samgar Shiksha Employees Association Chairman Bastab Debbarma demanded that the Division Bench of Tripura High Court on February 23, 2021 order them to regularize. But the state government has not implemented that judgment till date. He alleged that their deprivation was getting worse. If no decision is taken about them in the next cabinet meeting, then they will besiege the house of the Chief Minister and Education Minister later. Incidentally, a total of 550 teachers and non-teaching staff are engaged in the Samagra Sikha scheme.
