The ruling BJP on Saturday announced its candidates for 54 out of 60 constituencies in the upcoming assembly elections. Out of these 11 are female candidates. Out of 54 people, 6 MLAs have dropped out. They are Mimi Majumdar of Badharghat, Birendra Debvarma of Golaghat, Subhash Das of Nalchar, Biplab Ghosh of Matabari constituency, and Parimal Debvarma of Ambasa constituency,Atul Debbarma from krishnapur.BJP party has not announced candidate for Agartala constituency yet.The remaining five have been left for alliance petnar IPFT.
