Women of Ward No. 7 blocked the Assam Agartala National Highway demanding drinking water in front of the entire Ambasa municipal council. For several days, the people of Ward No. 7 of Ambasa municipal council are suffering from lack of drinking water. Although the matter was brought to the notice of the Municipal Council many times, nothing was done. Therefore, the farmers of the area are blocking the road in front of the municipal council to demand drinking water.
