CPIM protested at the police headquarters demanding immediate repatriation of 31 families except Swami Vivekananda housing and houses in Gorkhabasti area due to post-election terror. Subhashis Ganguly is the secretary of Sadar Sub-Committee said that, since the election, these thirty-one families are unable to go home and are being intimidated.He said that the police had been informed several times but the police did not take any action so they were forced to stage this protest today. If there is no action by the police then CPIM will go on a bigger movement later.
