A sudden fire broke out in the house of Rasmohan Debnath, a resident of Shantirbazar Master’s para on Monday around eleven o’clock in the morning. 2 gas cylinders in the house exploded in the fire. The housewife died in this fire. Her name is Monika Debnath Bhowmik (34). Husband Pulak Bhowmik is serving in TSR 9th Battalion. On this day, the rest of the family came to Udaipur Matabari. That’s when this happened. Fire service vehicles could not reach the spot as the road was narrow. Even the firemen have to face many problems to extinguish the fire due to severe water shortage in the area. The incident cast a shadow of mourning on the area.
