Several people were seriously injured and are under treatment in the hospital after a 132 KV power cable torn. This incident happened while cutting trees at Rasna Karmakar’s house in Kumarghat Ratiabari Panchayat area around 2 pm on Monday. At least 40 households in the area lost TV, refrigerator and other electrical items due to short circuit of electricity. Several people were injured. Later the injured were sent to the hospital. Police from Kumarghat police station rushed to the area after receiving information about the incident.This incident created a lot of confusion in the area.
