A team of 4 Secretary level representatives of the central government under the leadership of Under Secretary, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting. Government of India, Jai Prakash visited Khowai district yesterday. During their visit, the team attended a meeting at the conference hall of the DM office along with Additional District Magistrate of Khowai district Subhash Chandra Saha. The Additional DM of the district discussed progress of different central schemes with the team of representatives. Work of the associate team under Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission, team formation and process of providing loans were discussed in the meeting. Apart from that, he elaborately discussed construction of houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin, construction of lavatories under Swachha Bharat Mission, gas connection under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, power connection under Saubhagya Yojana and drinking water connection to households under Jal Jeevan Mission through a power point presentation.
