A meeting of the Agartala Destination Management Committee was held on 9th June, 2023 regarding Swadesh Darshan 2.0 scheme of the Ministry of Tourism. The meeting was held at the conference hall of the District Magistrate’s office of West Tripura district under the initiative of Tourism Development Corporation. MD of Tourism Development Corporation Tapan Das presided over the meeting. The meeting was attended by the officials of ‘IPE Global’ and management consultancy appointed by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India and the members of the Destination Management Committee of the concerned department of the district. In the meeting, infrastructure development, human resource development, employment generation, skill development for various tourism services, health, cleanliness, safety were discussed for the development and promotion of tourism.
