On the occasion of World Population Day-2023, a campaign to create awareness about population control was launched in West Tripura district today. As a part of this campaign, a Chariot will tour different areas of the district. Under the initiative of the district chief health officer’s office, this Chariot Chariot will campaign in various health centers, various populated areas, markets and brick kilns in the district for the next 4 days. This initiative is taken to create awareness among the public about family welfare and population control so that common people can know details about family planning programs. This year’s main slogan is ‘Azaadi ka Amrit Mohotsav, let us embrace family planning as a choice for happiness and prosperity’. Various other programs have been taken from the office of the District Chief Health Officer on this occasion.
