PRTC will be required for all types of government jobs in the state from now on. This decision was taken in the cabinet meeting today. Tourism Minister Sushant Chowdhury announced this decision of the Cabinet in a press conference at the Press Conference Hall in the Secretariat in the evening. In the press conference, he also said that if a suitable candidate is not available in the state for any post, exemption will be given in the case of PRTC for the job application of a candidate from outside the state.
In a press conference, Tourism Minister Sushant Chowdhury said that in the cabinet meeting, it has been decided to purchase a total of 35 thousand metric tons of paddy from the farmers of the state at minimum subsidized price during the Kharif season this year. Paddy will be procured at subsidized prices from about 40 paddy procurement centers in all the sub-divisions of the state. It will cost the state government about 85 crore 64 lakh rupees. The farmers of the state will benefit from this decision of the cabinet. He said that after the formation of the present government in 2018, till now 1 lakh 71 thousand metric tons of paddy has been purchased from the farmers. The state government has spent 327 crore rupees for this.
