In accordance to the approval of Election Commission of India,Padmasree Dr. Dipa Karmakar, Indian Gymnast has been appointed as State Icon by Election Department to campaign formaximization of enrolment in the Electoral Roll and mass Participation in Election process. The newshas been informed through a press release by the Election Department.
