As per the scheduled schedule, the Air Force special plane carrying President Draupadi Murmu landed at Maharaja Bir Bikram Airport on Wednesday morning at 11:02 am. Governor Satyadev Narayan Arya, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, Union Minister of State Pratima Bhowmik, Chief Secretary, Director General of State Police and other top officials welcomed the President at the airport. The President was given a guard of honor at the airport itself. This is the first time that the women police and women TSR forces of the state gave a guard of honor to the President.
