Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha today inspected the G+7 building of IGM Hospital proposed for Dental College. Dental college is going to be opened in the state very soon. The dental college will be opened in G+7 building of IGM Hospital, Agartala. The college will be launched on the ground floor, fifth, sixth and seventh floors of the G+7 building of IGM Hospital. During the visit, the Chief Minister reviewed all the infrastructural development of the dental college and gave necessary advice to the concerned. After the visit, IGM Hospital’s Medical Superintendent’s office, Chief Secretary JK Sinha, Secretary of Health and Family Welfare Department Dr. Debashis Bose, Director of Health Dr. A high-level meeting was held in the presence of Subhashis Devvarma.
In the meeting, the Chief Minister said that the initiative taken to establish a dental college in the state should be made successful with the joint efforts of all. In this regard, the Chief Minister emphasized on speedy completion of all procedural aspects. He directed the concerned to take all steps as per the guidelines of Dental Council of India. The issue of infrastructural development along with installation of medical equipment also dominated the discussion of the meeting. Dr. IGM Hospital Medical Superintendent at the meeting.
