The state government has given importance to infrastructural improvement The state government has given importance to infrastructural improvement of different sectors including education, health and PWD. Sum has been allotted in the state budget of present financial year for infrastructural improvement of different departments. The concerned departments must review on regular basis so that its works are implemented timely, said Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha in a review meeting of Subarna Jayanti Tripura Nirman Yojana at the Secretariat today. The Chief Minister said, officials of departments must keep regular communication with the concerned central ministry for all projects sent to the central government for approval.
Secretary of Planning & Coordination department Abhishek Chandra informed in the meeting that the state government started Subarna Jayanti Tripura Nirman Yojana in the financial year 2022-23 for infrastructural development of different departments. This scheme will be taken up for 3 financial years, i.e; from 2022-23 to 2024-25. 1 thousand crore rupees will be spent for this. 621 crore 12 lakh rupees has been spent recently in the financial year 2022-23. Infrastructure development works of different departments have been taken up in the financial year 2023-24 under this scheme which was mentioned in this budget. 209 crore 67 lakh rupees will be spent for this. The schemes include setting up of separate Communicable Disease Control Centre in AGMC and GBP Hospital at the cost of 55 crore rupees, construction of Vigyan Bhawan at Netaji Subhash College in Udaipur at the cost of 40 crore rupees, construction of new office building in Kamalpur Nagar Panchayat at the cost of 3.5 crore rupees, construction of 2 Youth hostels at the cost of 25 crore rupees in Kailashahar and Udaipur, commencement of 31 Monile Common Service Centres at the cost of 4 crore 13 lakh rupees and commencement of video conferencing systems at SDM offices and BDO office for the purpose of managing administrative work at the cost of 6 crore 70 lakh rupees etc.
The Secretary of Planning & Coordination department also informed in the meeting that 21 such works which have not been mentioned in the budget of financial 2023-24 will also be implemented in the present financial year under Subarna Jayanti Tripura Nirman Yojana. Apart from that, 23 new schemes under Subarna Jayanti Tripura Nirman Yojana in the financial year 2023-34 have been proposed in the meeting. Once the permission is granted. these will be implemented, informed the Secretary.

T. Darlong, Secretary of Rural Development department Sandip R. Rathore and Secretary of Urban Development department Abhishek Singh were also present in the meeting.
