Sepahijala District-Level Marathon was organised today in Bishalgarh as a part of 75 Seemanta Gram Kranti Veero Ke Naam programme. Sabhadhipati of Sepahijala Zilla Parishad Supriya Das Dutta inaugurated the Marathon run by waving a green flag. After inaugurating the marathon, he said, 75 Seemanta Gram Kranti Veero Ke Naam programme is being celebrated in the state through different programmes in the memory of brave freedom fighters of the nation. MLA Antara Darkar Deb, Chairperson Bishalgarh Municipal Council Anjan Purkayastha, Joint Director of Youth Affairs & Sports department Bharti Nigam and social worker Gouranga Bhowmik were present in the programme. The marathon competition started from Bishalgarh Motorstand and ended at Bishalgarh SDM office premises. 20 youth participated in the competition.
